NEW from Atomic. A faster, lighter skate ski with a new aluminum/magnesium laminate under the top cap dissipating skier weight more evenly. Softer tip but no reduction in stability. The pure Type C distribution still remains and longer tail pressure keeps it straight -- the arrowhead shaped shovel is 3 mm narrower this year reducing edge friction and so again, the Atomic Worldcup Skate is the fastest soft to medium track ski on the market. The new tip is 20% thinner and the transition pressure is softer and smoother. The bench test data shows significant change with binding placement, as one would expect in a soft track ski. 				SRG Test Summary General: Type C distribution is remarkably fast in soft track. The trick is stability that doesn't feel like a plank. Glide: Remains a spft tracl recprd -- 9.85. Stability: Beta construction allows torsional stability with soft tip--this is a surf board in soft track. Skate Edge: The same arrowhead shape gives smoothness and 9.3+ edge stability.
