Training after work? No time for difficult waxing? SRG has become convinced this is a useful ski at all levels. The NEW Shortcut (812) construction and the ETS (energy transfer system) have been applied to the RCR Crown No Wax base. Result: improved glide and easy kick. Grip is still super and glide is more forgiving with the new 812 kick zone and reduced length system (3 cm). Again we note, fit is critical and significantly different from the RCS waxables.

SRG Test Summary
General: A long flat Type C distribution. The stiff tail means riding a flat foot both in diagonal and double pole -- it lifts the crown pattern and lets the ski glide. If you don't, the
ski stops!
Glide: With good stiff fit and good technique, glide is 7.50 (good to very good). The new ETS stiffener is more forgiving.
Grip: 2/3 of the double crown pattern is all you need to climb a wall. Grip -- out of sight.
Drag: ETS improves drag to .04 -- pretty darn good compared to iced up klister.
