Salomon's skate ski returns. A World Cup Skate ski with arrowhead shape, a long (60 cm) pressure tail for fast hard track stability. A modified Type BA pressure distribution with a carbon plate under foot. The shovel widens from 41 mm to 43 mm to 42 mm under foot to 43 mm again in the tail. Binding location is critical.
A Type BA distribution puts sharp pressure way out on the tip -- unusual but very stable on hard track. The more rounded tail pressure improves glide and results in a straight tracking 9.6. The carbon plate further stiffens the ski contributing to improved Skate Edge Stability.

Weight: 1200 gm; 41/43/42/44

SRG Test Summary

General: Emphasis is on tracking stability. Long contact and torsional stiffness yields straight running, hard track skate ski.
Glide: 9.75 - 9.7 -- depending on track.
Stability: Best hard track numbers.
